
About Chef Tiffany
Chef Tiffany Thomas is classically-trained in the Escoffier brigade method. She learned under acclaimed celebrity chef Tory McPhail while at Commander's Palace in New Orleans for four years, and earned a much-coveted sous chef position. She went on to sous chef at other famous fine-dining kitchens before stepping into full leadership roles as an executive chef, chef de cuisine, and culinary director for multiple fine dining kitchens. She worked with the legendary Galatoire's as their cost analyst chef, utilizing her culinary skills alongside her degree in accounting, before stepping out on her own to create Herb & Iron.

Chef Tiffany's award-winning flavors stem from a deep study of global cuisines. She began with her abiding love of pastries, working as a pastry chef and baker. She quickly expanded further into savory, studying traditional French cuisine & technique, alongside the bright flavors of the Creole cultures of New Orleans & the Caribbean. She further deepened her knowledge of Italian, Hispanic, and Mediterranean flavors while leading kitchens dedicated to these styles.
With Herb & Iron, Chef Tif is excited to have the opportunity to bring her food directly to more people than ever, in fun and creative ways - elevating catering and casual hangouts alike!
